These empty nesters realized as their family expanded their kitchen was no longer working as a needed gathering place. It was time for an update to brighten up the older, darker room and ensure the functionality worked for this evolving family’s needs.

A beautiful, custom, stainless steel vent hood was brought in, providing a wow moment while greatly improving functionality. Ovens were moved to the cooking zone, and the island was made as large as possible to provide entertaining space for their growing family. A charging station was created for all the kids and grandkids to have a place to plug in devices when visiting, as well as a hidden drop zone to keep things from sitting on the counters.

It was imperative that there was space to accommodate their growing family in their eating nook. Salvaged wood beams were brought in for warmth and character, and banquet seating was installed along the back wall. In the end the client was overjoyed with their new warm, bright space!
