Time spent in our bathrooms at home is considered our only ability to be alone, and for most, a place away from the rest of the world. We brainstormed over how we can make this frequented space a place to relax and enjoy while still providing the full function of a primary bath. The owner wanted to brighten and update their dark and dated bath as a way to treat themselves.

We introduced light toned woods and neutral tiles to create a clean, spa like atmosphere that could be treated as a retreat when need be. Modern fixtures and lighting completely transformed the scale of this primary bath without going outside the original footprint; making it more inviting to sit in and get ready for the day.
